Silly Dogs!

Since we have gotten M&M they have been relatively well behaved puppies.  Well as good as a puppy can be I guess.  When I came home after work today, I found that they were a little bit on the ornery side.

M&M decided that they would rip their bed to shreds today!

Happy Birthday Sophie!

  Uncle Matt & Aunt Stef just wanted to wish Little Sophie a Happy 4th Birthday!  You are growing up so fast!  We Love you.

1st Visit to the Vet

M&M had their first visit to the Vet on Saturday.  It was supposed to be a routine visit for them to get their second set of their puppy shots but we ended up finding out some not so good news about poor Marrs.  When the Vet examined Marrs he indicated to us that he could potentially have a serious heart murmur.  Two Vets examined him and indicated on their scale of 1 to 6,they rated it a 4 to 5. At this point we do not know how serious it is, but they told us to just watch for signs and we got some good advice from our good friend Blake and will probably have some test done on him in the near future to determine what exactly is going on.

In the meantime, the puppies have done great their first week home.  They seem to be adapting well.  Here are a few pictures from today.

Little Sophie said it best at her birthday party, when I told her that one of our puppies was sick, she said "Maybe if I come and play with him he will feel better"  priceless!

New Bloggers & New Parents

We have officially entered the blogging world! Since all of our family and friends are blogging we thought we would join in on the fun and keep everyone updated on our crazy lives!


For our first post we thought we would let everyone know that we are officially first time parents. Our children are a little bit different from our family and friends children, but I am sure we are having almost as much fun. We added two additions to our family this past weekend, Marrs & Mendel. M&M are Germain Short-Haired Pointers that were born on January 11th. We made the journey to Northern Indiana and back on Saturday to bring them home. They did very well on the 5 hour drive and have been doing very well at their new home so far.
