Black Friday Shopping

Each year for "Black Friday" my family and I spend the weekend in Columbus and shop till we drop! We don't just stop at Friday, some of us shop until Saturday and a select few shop the whole weekend!! It is always nice to get our shopping done but even more fun to spend the weekend with our family. This is the only weekend that the "girls" get to spend a lot of time together so we make the most of it. We have been going Black Friday shopping for the past 10 years and we hope that this is a tradition that we can continue for many more!

A glimpse of our shopping damage. This is the back of Holly's truck, filled with gifts and that was just after Friday!

Happy Turkey Day

Another Thanksgiving has come and gone. Elli spent her first Thanksgiving visiting family at Great Grandpa Proper's and at Pa & T's. Marrs & Mendel got to go on their annual Thanksgiving Day hunt with Pa and Daddy and Elli enjoyed spending time with her cousins. The only thing that was missing was the Sikora's. We missed you! Now its time for Black Friday Shopping!!!!!

5 Months

This past week Elli turned 5 months old! She is turning into such a sweet little lady. She is starting to really discover lots of new things and realize her surroundings more and more. She is still working on crawling...still scooting for now but that doesn't stop her from getting to where she wants to go. She rolls everywhere and you really have to keep an eye on her now when she is on the floor. She is sleeping really well too. She is finally starting to extend her nights a little bit to sleeping anywhere from 8 to 10 hours!

1st Trick or Treat

Elli's first trick or treat was the beginning of a fun tradition. We met up with our friends and their kids and had a ball. Even though Elli didn't do much trick or treating this year, I am sure next year she will make up for it.
