Back to Blogging............

Well after a couple of months of not blogging.....we're back! The past couple of months have been a whirl wind with lots going on in our lives. Here is a glimpse..................

Celebrated our 1 year Anniversary in Indy * Went to the OSU vs. OU Football Game * Celebrated Aunt Phyllis's Wedding Day * Started training Marrs & Mendel to hunt for Pheasants *Working long hours * Enjoyed a Halloween Party in our neighborhood * Prepared for and attending Junior Civic League Gala * Celebrated Em's 1st Birthday * and much, much more!

The most excited thing that has happened to us in the last two months is that we found out that we are expecting. I am a little over 12 weeks along now with a due date of May 24th. We couldn't be anymore excited to become parents! Other than the morning sickness, that lasts all day long, everything has been going smoothly. There are days that I'm not sure if Matt quite knows how to handle my sickness and tiredness! We have decided not to find out what we are having so everyone will have to wait to be surprised.

For the sake of posting pictures, I thought we would post some recent pictures of our first children! They are growing like crazy and are very spoiled little dogs! Enjoy.

Golfing in Kiawah!

As promised here are a few pictures of our awesome golfing experience in Kiawah. As most of you know Matt taught me how to golf a few years ago and I have been hooked ever since. We have taken a golf trip to West Virginia and have enjoyed golfing around Chillicothe during the summers. Since Kiawah is a golf resort we decided to take advantage of the beautiful courses. Matt was not able to come down to Kiawah until later in the week so Nate and I decided to play a round together at Turtle Point before Matt arrived. Nate learned from our round that my putting needs a whole lot of work. We had a lot of fun despite the 109 heat index!
On our last day Matt, myself, Nate and even John played at Courgar Point. It was a rainy, buggy and crazy hot day but we took advantage of the day and had a great time! John, despite not playing for quite a few years, turned it on on the back nine! Better dust your clubs off Jackie because he might want to take up the sport again! Thanks guys for allowing me to play golf with you. I had a great time!

Kiawah Island Vacation

Antoher Knisley Family Vacation has come and gone. We had a great time spending time with the whole family. This is one of only a handful of times that the whole family is able to be together. I think we made the most of it! Here are a few pics from the week!

Check back tomorrow for pictures from our rounds of Golfing in Kiawah!

Congratulations Sarah!

Today was probably one of the toughest days that I have had to go through at work. My coworker, Sarah, recently graduated nursing school and today was her last day in our department. She and I have worked together for over 8 years and she has become one of my very best friends. Even though she will still be working at the same hospital that we currently work at, I will miss not seeing her and working with her everyday.

Congratulations Sarah and good luck with your new job! You will be a great nurse!

6 Months!

Today, Marrs & Mendal are celebrating their 6 Month Birthday! They are growing like crazy and are doing great! Marrs seems to be doing really well with his medication and does not have to go back to the vet for another 6 months! They are still very well in their chewing puppy stage though. They have gone through more than their share of puppy beds, toys and even a rampage through our flower bed! They are doing really well with the invisible fence and love to play with any kind of Shoes! Here are a couple of recent pictures of our boys.

Meet "Miles"

A few months ago, when Matt was out with the dogs he found a baby Snapping Turtle in our yard. We were not sure what to do with it so Matt decided that we should keep it for a while until we decided for sure. Well here we are two months later and "Miles" is still living in a rubbermaid container in our basement! We didn't have the heart to set it free in the wild just yet, but I think when he gets a bigger we should probably set him free in a nearby pond somewhere, but more than likely we will be keeping him for quite a while.

I wonder what Matt's college friends would think if they knew they were the inspiration of all of our pet's names!

Fourth of July Celebration

Most of you know that the July 4th Holiday is one of our favorite holidays. As always, the Annual Knisley Fourth of July party did not disappoint. Thank you Matt & Blake for a great show! We had everything to throw a great July 4th party, the only thing missing was the Sikora Family. We missed you all so much! Here are a few pictures from the day.
